Successful Development Strategies
For me, successful development of papers has been accomplished through rework. Once I figured out the direction the go, I would just type until I was finished. After I finished the assignment, I would proof read and tweak what I did not like, or reword something to make more sense or read more smoothly. I think this is key in with my style of writing since I usually just type without slowing down much to really think and get it to make sense while I am writing. Another strategy is to develop a flow chart with basics on the direction to go. For a research paper, get sources and specific writing points to cover in the paper. Once the information is gathered, arrange it in a for that flows and build on each of the points in order to build depth. But in general, for me the method of rough draft repair works best and it is what I have used in the past most successfully. There might be more effective ways yo brainstorm and develop a smooth, coherent paper, but I would rather build something and then see how well it works then fix what needs to be fixed instead of spending a ton of time planning.
